On the shores of Bruny Island, just off the coast of Hobart, we take three full days and nights;
To unfurl from our big, busy lives;
To slow down, rest and regather;
So that when we emerge,
We are connected to our deepest sense of self.
This is a retreat dedicated to you,
A place for you to remember yourself;
Through embodied movement, intentional stillness and awakened breath.
From Friday evening to Monday morning,
you’re given the space and time to unravel,
In the quiet cocoon of retreat,
where you can be nourished on every level.
Your own private beach access from our beautiful home, nestled amongst the eucalypts.
With plenty of free time, optional massages,
connection, nature and beauty in abundance.
A weekend for you,
To take what you need, and leave the rest behind.
Returning to balance and, in turn,
returning home to your deepest sense of self.

Yes, absolutely.
All meals are vegetarian with gluten free and vegan options available.
Any allergies will be accommodated for as long as we are given notice prior to retreat commencement.

Yes, this weekend is just for women and non-binary folk.

Yin yoga is a slow, gentle practice where we target the connective and soft tissues of the body, as well as meridian lines to harmonise the flow of qi (energy) in the body. We practice low to the ground using the support of bolsters and props, and hold shapes for anywhere up to ten minutes at a time.

We rest, breathe, do some yoga, eat delicious food, swim in the ocean or walk in nature; we have plenty of free time, and everything is optional.

Yes, absolutely.
If you're coming with a friend, you're welcome to the shared room of two, three or four (subject to availability). You can always email to confirm.

Arrival is between 4-5pm on Friday.
We will close by 11am on Monday morning.
THE OFFERING

of luxury accommodation on the shores of Bruny Island with stunning ocean and hinterland views. Private beach access from our refuge on 1000 acres of bushland teeming with native birds and wildlife.
NOURISHING FOOD
Three nourishing and colourful buffet style vegetarian meals each day
SILENCE
Noble silence is observed each morning until breakfast time when we indulge in the joy and connection of sharing a meal
DAILY YOGA NIDRA
A practice that has helped me heal time and time again. ‘Yogic sleep’ — deep rest. So you can emerge well-nourished and well-rested
FREE TIME
Plenty of free-time to relax and explore your beautiful surroundings.
MORNING FLOW & EVENING YIN
Daily morning hatha/vinyasa practice with simple meditation and pranayama and afternoon yoga nidra and a daily evening yin/restorative yoga practice
MASSAGE
Optional add-on of a 30 or 60 minute massage in the comfort of your accommodation
GIFTS
A retreat tote bag including Loco love chocolate, Superfeast herbs and a handmade eye pillow for your yin pleasure. Plus, a retreat booklet with journaling prompts and practices for you to do in your spare time (if you so desire)
CLAY WORKSHOP
Intentional clay play workshop with local Bruny Island ceramicist to connect with your sense of touch and creativity without expectation.
