For this retreat, we come together on the shores of Bruny Island,
To listen with our bodies; to listen to our bodies.
To move energy through the subtle spaces of awareness,
From our centre, to our edges.
So we can remember our own innate wisdom
And reconnect to our bodies as our homes.
This is a weekend dedicated to you and your practice,
A place to dive deep into the philosophy of yoga,
To understand and then experience the practical application of these teachings.
And always, this is a place to rest.
It doesn’t need to be the biggest, hardest shapes.
We’re not here to achieve deep backbends or to learn to stand on your hands.
Instead, we simplify, to amplify.
Your practice can go deeper than shapes in space.
From Friday evening to Monday morning,
you’re given the space and the time,
In the quiet cocoon of retreat,
where you can be nourished on every level.
Your own private beach access from our beautiful home, nestled amongst the eucalypts.
With plenty of free time, optional massages,
connection, rest and time in nature.
A weekend for you to dive deep into yourself.
Remembering your body as your home,
And all of the wisdom it holds.

All of the classes are beginner friendly and full of options.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this retreat is for you

Yes, absolutely.
All meals are vegetarian with gluten free and vegan options available.
Any allergies will be accommodated for as long as we are given notice prior to retreat commencement.

Yes, this weekend is just for women and non-binary folk.

Yin yoga is a slow, gentle practice where we target the connective and soft tissues of the body, as well as meridian lines to harmonise the flow of qi (energy) in the body. We practice low to the ground using the support of bolsters and props, and hold shapes for anywhere up to ten minutes at a time.

We rest, breathe, do some yoga, eat delicious food, swim in the ocean or walk in nature; we have plenty of free time, and everything is optional.

Yes, absolutely.
If you're coming with a friend, you're welcome to the shared room of two, three or four (subject to availability). You can always email to confirm.

Your yoga mat (if you cannot bring a mat, please email me and I will organise you one)

Arrival is between 4-5pm on Friday.
We will close by 11am on Monday morning.
THE OFFERING
3 DAYS 4 NIGHTS
of luxury accommodation on the shores of Bruny Island with stunning ocean and hinterland views. Private beach access from our refuge on 1000 acres of bushland teeming with native birds and wildlife.
NOURISHING FOOD
Three nourishing and colourful buffet style vegetarian meals each day made by our local, in house chef.
SILENCE
Noble silence is observed each morning until breakfast time when we indulge in the joy and connection of sharing a meal
DAILY YOGA NIDRA
A practice that has helped me heal time and time again. ‘Yogic sleep’ — deep rest. So you can emerge well-nourished and well-rested.
FREE TIME
Plenty of free-time to relax and explore your beautiful surroundings with beaches and bush walks in abundance.
MORNING FLOW & EVENING YIN
Daily morning hatha flow practice with guided meditation and pranayama and afternoon yin/restorative yoga practice.
MASSAGE
Optional add-on of a 30 or 60 minute massage in the comfort of your accommodation
GIFTS
A retreat tote bag including Loco love chocolate, Superfeast herbs and a handmade eye pillow for your yin pleasure. Plus, a retreat booklet with journaling prompts and practices for you to do in your spare time (if you so desire)
YIN & CELLO IMMERSION
A slow, guided yin practice accompanied by live cello, for you to dive deep into your body.
