Vata Calm 60 minutes

A practice to calm the energy of vata.
An ayurvedic concept; vata is the excess of air and space in the body and mind. When we have an excess of vata, we can become agitated, anxious, have poor sleep, poor digestion and suffer from anxiety.

Vata is particularly predominant in the season of autumn due to its cool, dry and windy nature. All things that agitate vata.

We use compression of the internal organs, twisting, stillness and movement to pacify this energy.

No props required.
