Yin for Liver/Wood 60 minutes
A yin practice (filmed a very long time ago) for the liver and gallbladder meridians in the low body. Perfect for springtime.
We do what's called a 'yin-yasa'—similar to a vinyasa— we flow through all of the shapes on the ride side with minimal rebound, then you have a moment to expereince the rebound on one side of the body before we do the shapes on the left.
This way, we get a really tangible energetic experience of the change we've created.
This is also a great sequence for your pre menstrual phase, a healthy liver chi can help with a smooth release of blood as well as softening the fluctuations of mood and irritability that are common during this phase.
If you have any props, gather them. pillows, blocks, bolsters, straps etc.
If you don't have a strap, you can use a towel or sarong for this class.
