Move Your Kapha 45 minutes

While wintertime asks us to rest more, it's important to make sure we don't drop into a space of stagnation.
Moving our bodies and keeping the internal fires alive is integral.

In Ayurveda, this stagnant energy is a quality of kapha - the earth and water constitution - which can lead us to inertia or sluggishness.

This class focuses on moving energy in the body UP, building heat and encouraging deep breaths.
We work with back-bending, building the inhale breath and a small amount of core work to stoke the internal fires.
A useful winter practice to get the body and breath moving.

No props required but if you have a block it may come in handy.
